Glamping in Spain

5 Star Guest Review on Tripadvisor :

“People talk of ‘getting away from it all’, well Cloud House Farm is the real deal. Beautiful Andulcian mountains, shimmering streams for swimming in, biking and hiking heaven, and the occasional immaculate little white town if you want to check out some real and rustic Spanish cuisine.”

“Our yurt was a work of art. My wife hates camping but this is about as far from canvas and airbeds as you can get. With a double bed and a futon for our two-year old, she had little to complain about. In fact after 2 nights, she even proclaimed she ‘loved it!’”

“The Cloud House hosts are a lovely English couple called Dan and Justine who made us completely welcome to their beautiful ‘campo’ retreat. They were there with fountains of knowledge on the local area when we needed advice, but left us in complete privacy at all times so we could ‘soak up the tranquility’ as Dan eloquently put it. We can’t wait to go back.”

Walking in Andalucia

Walking In Andalucia, by Guy Hunter-Watts. ISBN: 978-84-89954-55-7

Cloud House Farm is on one of Guy’s most noted walks from the beautiful white village of Genalguacil to Benarraba. (Page 147, The Walk of the Vizir’s Garden).

The latter half of the journey takes you down from Genalguacil with the spectacular mountain views, then across the Rio Almarchal, past the Roman ruin bridge & up over Benestepar directly passing Cloud House Farm. And then onwards to the Rio Genal crossing before the climb back up to Benarraba.
