Our neighbours Finca has come up for sale, its a beautiful smallholding and would make the perfect setting for a new lifestyle. This could be a great opportunity to own an established Finca and a good substantial piece of wild Mediteranian forest.
Seven hectares of mixed woodland and irrigated orchards/ vegetable plots. The finca has its own plentiful water supply from its own spring (one of the most prolific in the area). The finca is set in a secluded valley (close to the river Almachar) which is a haven for wildlife. There are salamanders living near the spring, a very rich birdlife (it is close to the main migration routes) and in spring, there are masses of wildflowers. It is a naturalist’s dream.
There are three buildings. The old house, approximately 5 x 10 meters, is stone built. It is habitable though in need of restoration. There is also a small wooden house with two bedrooms and a bathroom which would make instant Glamping accommodation, and a brick built workshop (approx 6 x 6m) that could be converted. There is a solar electricity system.
The buildings have wood-burning stoves (the finca is self-sufficient in firewood). There is also a bread oven.
The spring feeds an alberca/ plunge pool, perfect for endless summer afternoons ……
