Our neighbours Finca has come up for sale, its a beautiful smallholding and would make the perfect setting for a new lifestyle. This could be a great opportunity to own an established Finca and a good substantial piece of wild Mediteranian forest.

Seven hectares of mixed woodland and irrigated orchards/ vegetable plots. The finca has its own plentiful water supply from its own spring (one of the most prolific in the area). There are productive areas of cork, olives and chestnuts as well as some fruit trees (including almonds, plums, oranges and a few avocados). A perfect setting for a Yurt Retreat.

The finca is set in a secluded valley (close to the river Almachar) which is a haven for wildlife. There are salamanders living near the spring, a very rich birdlife (it is close to the main migration routes) and in spring, there are masses of wildflowers. It is a naturalist’s dream.

There are three buildings. The old house, approximately 5 x 10 meters, is stone built. It is habitable though in need of restoration. There is also a small wooden house with two bedrooms and a bathroom which would make instant Glamping accommodation, and a brick built workshop (approx 6 x 6m) that could be converted. There is a solar electricity system.

The buildings have wood-burning stoves (the finca is self-sufficient in firewood). There is also a bread oven.

The spring feeds an alberca/ plunge pool, perfect for endless summer afternoons ……
